WHY I BUILD TOOLS

Most ERP systems contain the information you need. The challenge is getting the right answer fast enough to act on it.

 

I build practical tools around existing ERP and production data so managers can quickly see priorities, shortages, status, capacity, and risk without digging through multiple reports or spreadsheets. I am not trying to replace the ERP. I am trying to make its information easier to use.

PRODUCTION CONTROL

I build tools that help answer questions such as:

• What should run next?

• What is late?

• What is currently running?

• Where is labor deployed?

• Where is capacity available?

• Which jobs are at risk?

Examples include production-priority views, real-time floor-status tools, scheduling and capacity views, past-due management, and production-performance reporting.

MATERIAL & INVENTORY VISIBILITY

Material shortages are easier to solve when they are visible before the job reaches the machine.

DESIGN RULE

THE BEST TOOL IS THE ONE PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY USE.

 

If a system creates more work, hides the answer, or requires too much explanation, it will not help the operation.

 

The objective is simple: get the right information to the right people fast enough to act on it.
